John Purkiss is a headhunter and board advisor. He is the co-author of How to be Headhunted, Ken Purkiss – 50 Photos and Brand You.

John studied Economics at Cambridge University and has an MBA from INSEAD, where he was awarded the Henry Ford II Prize. He began his career in banking and management consultancy,  and has helped to launch several new businesses. He became a partner with Heidrick & Struggles prior to co-founding Purkiss & Company, which specialises in recruiting chairmen, chief executives and finance directors / chief financial officers.

John has lived and worked in France, Germany, Belgium and the USA. He speaks French, German and Spanish.
